EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Joe is a Florida State University graduate with over forty years of professional tax, audit and accounting experience. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs. Joe is the Partner in charge of technology in the Firm. Joe's years in the accounting profession have provided him with a unique insight into both the opportunities and problems businesses and organizations are faced with. Joe has placed special emphasis in the practice areas of credit union and consulting, small business tax and consulting, and other nonprofit organizations auditing and accounting.

COMMUNITY AND CIVIC INVOLVEMENT

Joe also served many civic, professional and community support organizations. Being involved in his community and civic affairs has always been one of Joe's priorities. He has many years of involvement in the Capital City Kiwanis Club, and is a distinguished Past President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Director. Joe is serving on the Board of Alzheimer Projects of Tallahassee, Inc. and Treasurer of Epiphany Lutheran Church of Tallahassee, Inc. He is a Past president of the Tallahassee Quarterback Club and is a member of the President's Club of Florida State University.

LEISURE TIME AND HOBBIES

Joe is married to Peggy and they have four children, Meredith, Chrystal, Sarah, Derrick and seven grandchildren. Away from the office Joe enjoys the out of doors with wife Peggy. If he is not at Alligator Point fishing or working on a project, he is probably firing up the grill for a cookout or getting the grease hot for a fish fry. Mullet is his specialty and around the Point he is known as "The Mullet Man". He also enjoys 4-wheeling in the woods and has been known to play a little guitar (very little).
