Dan graduated from Florida State University with degrees in accounting and marketing. He has over thirty-five years of professional tax, audit and accounting experience providing services to a wide diversity of businesses and organizations. Major areas of practice for Dan include small business tax and business consulting services, trade associations and not-for-profit organizations, self insurance funds, and individual tax planning.
COMMUNITY AND CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
Community and civic support have been very important to Dan over the years. He served as President of the Tallahassee Jaycees, and was the recipient of the Seldon Waldo award as the most outstanding local chapter president in the Florida Jaycees. An active Rotarian, Dan is a charter member of Sunrise Rotary of Tallahassee. He has held the positions of President, Treasurer and Director in the club, and is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Tallahassee Area Chamber of Commerce, and is a graduate of the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Tallahassee Class XVII. Dan currently serves on the Board of Directors of 211 Big Bend, Inc., the Finance Committee of Holy Cross Anglican Church, and is an active volunteer with Tallahassee Healing Prayer Ministry.
LEISURE TIME AND HOBBIES
Having two sons and their families living in Tallahassee, Dan and his wife Barbara's leisure time focus has shifted in recent years to finding ways to enjoy activities with their four grandchildren. He also enjoys fishing and other outdoor activities.
